About Me

Welcome to my page! I’m Christopher B. Brewington, a senior at Arcadia University pursuing a Media and Communications degree. I grew up in the Poconos and moved to Philadelphia after I graduated high school to attend Arcadia University. While I started my undergraduate journey undecided, I began taking classes to set me up with a Nursing degree. After completing an internship at Fox Chase Cancer Center at the of my sophomore year, I decided that nursing wasn’t for me, and wanted to pursue something that can allow me to let my creative juices flow. I knew that I had an interest in video production because I enjoyed creating and editing my own videos when I was younger. So, I declared my major as Media and Communication with an individualized concentration because I didn’t want to limit myself to one field of work. While studying as a media student, I developed crucial skills for working in the production field. But as of recently, I’ve been leaning toward sharing the knowledge I have gained throughout my life. My goal now is to find my way into teaching. I believe it is the most fulfilling career choice for me because it has so many of the qualities I am looking for in a career. I look forward to the challenges I need to overcome to get to the classroom I want to teach in.
