Over the last few weeks, I have been working to construct the website that will house my 4-5 blog entries about different sports films and the true history of the story and its athletes. I have finalized the list of movies that I plan to review and research, including Moneyball (2011), Next Goal Wins (2023), Miracle (2004), Remember the Titans (2000), and Gran Turismo (2023). All of these films are based on true stories or events and are focused on different sports and events from different decades since it is important to me to provide a diverse list rather than specializing in one kind of sports movie. In building the website, I included a little bit of background to my essay work to provide additional context as to why I chose to do this project and even linked my final paper there for those who are interested in reading it. In the next week or so, I hope to have at least one of the blog posts completed and have the rest of the site built and in a state that I can share with my peers for feedback.
