Going into spring break, I am currently between issues of the magazine, so it’s time for me to really buckle down and make a big marketing push for submissions. I recently started creating new content on Canva which will act as my CFC (Call for Contributors). I’m hoping to get social media posts, print flyers, digital signage for the chat, and an email that can be sent out department-wide by the time we come back from break so that everyone has a solid two-plus weeks to work on submissions. I didn’t feel confident in my marketing strategy for the last issue and it didn’t yield great results, so I’m hoping that by really using my marketing skills here, I can round up a solid number of submissions.
