This being the 4th blog post for Easy Mode feels surreal; I’m thankful to be halfway done with my podcast. I am about to start my 5th interview out of 8. It would have been my 6th this week if I hadn’t fallen ill last week. But because I’ve been so good about my work schedule for the podcast, I was able to afford to take a week off to get well. I have to be honest, I’m truly exhausted with academia. With all of the shitty life things that I’ve been enduring, getting to graduation feels like more of a fight than ever the closer I get. I’m very proud of all the work I’ve gotten done and will push myself to continue to do until I graduate. Graduation is definitely looming over me right now; I’m doing pretty well in all my classes but I can’t shake the feeling of how much work is still to be done. I’m slowly pivoting my focus to how I will be physically presenting my podcast on Thesis day. Right now, my main idea is to have a listening table set up with a TV screen above it that just displays the banner I made for the podcast. Additionally, I’m thinking of adding my transcripts to the table in packets. I’m not sure what else I could do to display a podcast physically but I’ve been asking around for other opinions. Ultimately, I desperately want to graduate and I won’t let anyone take it from me, not even myself. I’m adding the embed link for the 4th episode below.
