While I still haven’t taken any photos yet for my project, I have been doing some research and compiling ideas for my shots. I’ve been watching videos on YouTube, scrolling through Instagram and Pinterest, and even looking at some fashion magazine spreads. After getting some sense of the aesthetic I’m trying to achieve, I began planning out my first shoot. In my cute little notebook, I wrote down the color vibe of the shoot, location, materials needed, potential poses, and specific outfit/makeup if needed. This has definitely helped me feel less stressed about actually starting the work but I really need to see what the product will look like. It’s been a while since I worked with a DSLR so fingers crossed. Hopefully, I’ll have some work to show for the next blog post.
