To begin my creative project, I am currently reading popular television show
scripts that align with the idea I have for my own script. The shows I am studying right
now are Parks and Recreation, Modern Family, Arrested Development and 30 Rock.
Right now, I have only seen all of Parks and Rec as well as Modern Family. I am
familiar with some episodes of 30 Rock but I have seen even fewer of Arrested
Development. I chose three scenes from the three shows I am most familiar with and
am currently rewatching the other to become more aquatinted with the final product.
Once I have a better understanding of how these shows are written and paced, I can
begin writing the first draft of my pilot script.
