I have taken a break from interviews for my own sanity. Watching the folder size increase everyday was my warning sign to take some time and organize the content. I had rough edits of a few interviews already done but it seemed like nothing compared to the new footage. Editing has been really eye opening to the coverage I need.
However I now think that it might be better if I just leave focus on the person speaking so it is a more personal experience. Although I might still go out and get some background footage just in case I could use it. If there is one recurring theme so far it’s that you can’t have too much footage.
I just use basic organization based on the questions and grouping responses together as such.
