As of the beginning of April, I’ve finalized the organization of the magazine. It will consist of pages dedicated to individual artists’ introductions and statements on recent work as well as full-page graphics, photos, and single-page collages. Some of the content is still on the way or a work in progress so some spaces are still blank or contain placeholder material. Most of this is
graphics and final statements I’m waiting on. The most significant update at this point is the newly solidified title of the piece: plug. The name comes from a word that has a variety of meanings and associations within subcultures relating to the magazine’s content and plays on
its function as a plug or promotion for the work of various people. Moving forward I will try to gather and complete missing content as quickly as possible and begin printing immediately after. I’m concerned about having final prints ready in time for the capstone presentation date so I may need to come up with an alternative solution to serve as a mockup in that event.
