Hi again! I’ve been making good progress on the magazine in the last few weeks. Leading up to spring break I’ve been putting a good amount of time into creating various graphics and margin illustrations to carry a somewhat unified visual aesthetic throughout the magazine. I’ve also been working on covers and text graphics. Over spring break I plan to carry out a significant portion of the interviews and artist highlights I’m hoping to include. I’ve set up some times to meet with a few different artists in Baltimore and DC to discuss details and to gather media and artist statements. After the break I will then hopefully move on to assembling the magazine in greater detail in InDesign and organize the interviews I plan to conduct virtually. I’ve been a little behind schedule recently due to my courses outside of this project but I’m hoping that spring break will provide an opportunity to catch up a bit.
