A name has finally been picked for the podcast! I went through almost 20 different variations before my friends and I could settle on something that we liked. The process was surprisingly very tedious, but ultimately we chose to take normal K-pop abbreviations and give them different meanings. DPR, in the K-pop fandom, refers to an artist named DPR Live and the initials stand for Dream Perfect Regime. However, we decided to alter the meaning of the letters to make it more relevant to the topics that we will discuss. We came up with Delulu Public Radio, which alludes not only to how K-pop fans are often called delusional but also to the fact that we’ll be discussing the many instances where that delusion has negatively affected the artists. In addition to that, we will also start the recording sessions next week! I am beyond excited to begin this step of the process and can’t wait to see how the experience goes.
