My creative project is going well so far. I have written a few pages of it and have started to really fully develop where I want the story to go. I have worked on other writing projects in the past and have had to practice pacing, but pacing for a story this short is hard and something that is challenging to me. I also decided to write in third person which is also something new for me. I usually stick to writing in first person, but I thought that with a short story, third person could help bring the story to life. Third person is helpful when describing more than just what is inside the main character’s head. I am not positive that I will stick with third person, but I wanted to give it a try and see how it sounds. I find this story to be interesting and I am intrigued with the content that I have written so far. I am still brainstorming ideas of what direction to take the plot next while still following my outline.
