I have been extremely content with how my thesis is coming together. When my best friend, Berk, and I came up with the idea to create a music podcast last year, it instantly stuck and I knew this would ultimately be my creative project. Thankfully, we have run into very few obstacles and the process has been enjoyable. I was not familiar with the podcast room in Murphy Hall prior to connecting with Julia and having her show us how all of the equipment works. It is an impressive setup and has allowed us to successfully orchestrate this project. One feature that has been golden for us is the Bluetooth setting, where I can connect my phone and easily play songs between our talking segments. This has made the audio editing process much easier. This week, the week of February 10, 2024, I have been working on graphics for the podcast, such as a header and a logo. Additionally, we will be recording the second episode. We think that eight episodes is an obtainable goal, considering the process has been so smooth-sailing thus far. I really look forward to seeing this podcast continue to come together and enjoying these moments recording and reminiscing on the tracks with my best friend.
