I have managed to finalize my questions after tons of lonely solo zoom interviews.I also got to do a few of the first interviews. The first of them went terribly wrong after my recording of the interview simply disappeared. I tried all I could but soon learned the zoom cloud was the safest way to store my videos.
A few more interviews. All of which have been incredible with no issues. I have also begun to put together the documentary. The more I have these conversations the more I realize it should be a dialogue documentary and less of a visual which is something new to me. I am finding deeper meaning in language talking with all my friends overseas.
An issue I also contemplate is my personal relationship with the people I am interviewing. I know them all very well but I do not think we have ever deeply talked on the topic so I figure it has no bias on the answers given. If anything the relationship allows for a more natural and honest conversation.
