Sydney Ivey
Hi! My name is Sydney Ivey. I’m a senior Global Media Studies major with a focus in music and sound! I’ve had a very unique educational journey that has allowed me to study a number of disciplines at multiple institutions. I first attended Rowan College of South Jersey, earning an Associate degree in psychology. After that, I transferred to Arcadia, where I spent one year studying media and communications and one year at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia, studying music.
I played tennis throughout the majority of my college career, playing two years on my community college team, earning two All-American titles, and one semester with Arcadia. I also enjoy theatre and am involved in Arcadia’s Cabaret Club! I like to hang out with my friends, listen to music, go to concerts, thrift, play video games, take joyrides, and more.
During my time at Arcadia, I fell in love with making videos. I love music videos, micro documentaries, abstract video art, sketch comedy, and everything in between. Upon graduation, I will continue my work with Live Nation, as well as pursue my own creative endeavors in my free time.
