BUG

    Bug is in their senior year at Arcadia University finishing up their Global Media degree with a concentration in Digital Gaming Studies. They studied abroad for 2 full semesters at Bond University in Australia where they took classes like Interactive Design and Video Game Industry. They were born in raised in Philadelphia, where they participated in media-oriented after-school programs designed to give high schoolers 21st-century skills. Using media convergence, Bug wants to combine their knowledge of multiple mediums and apply it by making their own video game. Bug plans to use their rich media background and degree to break into the video game industry as a game designer. Bug also has plans to cultivate safer spaces for marginalized gamers by disrupting the current intolerant and bigoted gaming culture. Ultimately, Bug wants to shift the gaming world through their vision of a more considerate, kind, and informed industry by leading a team of like-minded individuals towards these goals.
