Jacob Smith

Jacob Smith is a senior Global Media Studies major with a concentration in Sound & Music from Dallas, PA. In 2023, he studied abroad for two semesters at UTS (University of Technology Sydney). During this time he gained valuable experience creatively and professionally, working in event production and exposing himself to the music scene in the city. Now he is applying his experience into the school’s ARC Radio Station as the organization’s president. Additionally he is working with retired professor Alan Powell as an intern for Termite TV and the Cherry Street Arts Pier in Philadelphia. Jacob enjoys all things creative and artistic, but finds his heart drawn to music. From listening & documenting his music discovery to creating his own here and there, Jacob is always looking for ways to implement his love for music into his daily life.
