So here we are. The beginning of the end. Just over a week until thesis night and one month from graduation and I am so much mre melancholic than I anticipated. I set out to complete this project with a million ideas in my head and I was, in hindsight, overly ambitious. That’s not to say I didn’t put my blood sweat and many many tears into this, but just that it’s not what I orginally planned.
I now have six movie posters drawn, printed and ready to be framed and hung in Murphy next Friday.
I wanted my project to be a little more interactive than just having people walk by my posters, so I created six playlists, one for each female protagonist, and there’ll be a QR code under each poster that will take people to each woman’s respective playlist. This also allowed me to work up some of my drafts and draw a little more since I wanted the playlists to have custom drawn covers.

I’m not sure if people really dedicate their theses to people, but I would like to dedicate this project to Dr. Michael Dwyer. Thank you for being endlessly inspiring and for always keeping it real.
