It’s finally here! As I mentioned in my last blog post, I completed the writing and editing of my book. I was just waiting for the cover design to be completed. I received the final draft of the design on March 30th, so I was able to order my printed books on March 31st. Ordering the prints this day was my plan since the beginning of the semester, so I am very happy with myself that I was able to do that. I ordered five books, one for me, one for the department to keep, one for the cover artist, and two for my parents. I’m surprised they arrived this quickly, but I love how they came out. It all looks exactly how I imagined it. I ordered the prints through Blurb, and I was able to set them up for sale through their online bookstore. My only issue with that is how much money the book is. Blurb set the book at $20, which was way more than I was expecting, but that did not include any profit for me, so I had to raise the price even more just so that I can make a little bit of money per purchase. Nonetheless, I’ve sold three books so far!
