Creative inspiration strikes in mysterious ways. In a matter of roughly two days, I’ve gone from having no ideas to all I need to do it edit! I’m pleased to say I’ll be making a found footage style micro documentary about Fred the Turkey, a local legend of my hometown who recently passed away. When I opened Facebook yesterday and saw the news, I knew immediately what my video would be. I’ll be taking a look at who Fred was, why he was so important to the town, and the impact his passing had on the community who loved him. Tomorrow, I’ll be attending a candlelight vigil in his honor in hopes of interviewing some local community members!
