I am about three fourths finished with my project at this point. I just recently had a photoshoot with my good friend Bella which I’m quite proud of. My thesis has evolved into putting modern bodies, mostly women, into powerful and historical settings. I’ve decided that the title of the exhibition will be “Comedy of Thirst” inspired by a poem from my favorite poet Arthur Rimbaud. I plan on doing some self portrait work to complete the exhibition. I also plan on working with my friend to involve some multimedia collage work within the exhibition that will tie the photographs and artwork together. I plan on showcasing my work in a less party atmosphere now that I have most of my images because they don’t really reflect or compliment each other. I will make it more eclectic and angsty than the disco idea I previously had.
