Surprise surpriseee! Raphy, through the financial assistance of many friends, is getting an acoustic guitar for her birthday. I can only imagine this song is going to get more complicated and epic with this addition. She also really, really wants her own chorus pedal, but for now will have to continue borrowing from my boyfriend until I can afford the Ethel Cain one.. muuuhahaah!!!!
I asked her if she had washed the thrifted dress we got for the music video yet and she said No…. Kinda gross. So, we’re filming for the music video on her actual birthday I hope! I’m thinking we will do a mix of daytime/nighttime shots, maybe have to use an insanely bright flashlight on her in some of the filming process… but it should be so cool.
It will be filmed entirely on my Lumix G7, Canon V10, and two rather random early 2010s digital cam models for that nice effect. I plan to just carry all them with me and just go with whichever one feels the best for the scene. We have a cemetery picked out, an abandoned train car, and some abandoned buildings picked out, too. It should be fun.
