Lately I’ve been hitting a slight bit of unwanted stagnation I’ll be honest. I have so much class work in all my classes and I haven;t been able to put as much work as I would like to into planning. I should be focused on finding possible sponsors for the event but because of all my classes I haven’t been able to reach out to people as I would like to. Additionally I had a meeting with the Office of Sponsored Research and Projects and the way it was advertised on the Arcadia website was quite different from what the office is able to do. I wasn’t expecting it to be grant writing. Also I’m not sure the person I met with really understood what I was trying to do so the meeting wasn’t as helpful as I wanted it to be. She also cut the meeting in half from what we originally planned so I wasn’t able to get all the information I was looking for. Additionally, I haven’t been seeing much interest from art student’s, well I see interest when I tell people but only two people have filled out the interest form. I’m not sure what to do there. But I’m planning on contacting a lot of businesses over the weekend so hopefully I’ll have better news during the next blog post.
