The project is going alright at the moment. I have finally booked out a microphone to start recording my vocals, as well as a film camera and tripod for filming the music video. I have gone out to record a few shots for the video while there is still snow outside before the rain washes it all away. Hopefully, I can cut and mix all of these together, and fill in the gaps with extra shots I can film later if needed.
Otherwise for the song itself, I have reached out to my friend back in Australia to see if he would play the banjo for my track, and I will hopefully get confirmation of whether he will be able to do it soon. I do feel just a little behind since I really wanted to be finished with recording vocals and instruments last week, but my workload has been getting more intense than what I originally expected. I will start blocking out more specific times every week that are dedicated to this project in order to stay on track, as well as my other courses so they do not take up more time than they should or need to.
