Unfortunately, the rest of the Spring Semester has transformed into a digital space because of the COVID-19 outbreak. A lot of seniors have been robbed of their last semester on campus at Arcadia University (not including myself). No one really knew that it was going to be their last day on the campus, their last time sitting in the Chat with friends, and no one really got to say goodbye to each other. It is sad that we have to finish up like this. Part of me has a lot of mixed feelings about the situation. One part of me is frustrated and upset because we have to continue to push through the semester despite being on a pandemic lockdown. Some people are out of work (including myself), and now I have to worry about being able to pay my bills, putting food on the table, and saving enough so I don’t suffer later. On top of that, I have to worry about my assignments getting completed. Although, another part of me feels some sort of excited to work in the digital area along with my fellow peers. It’s going to be an exciting semester figuring out how to go about all these new changes, but this whole situation is just another challenge to overcome. For the remainder of the semester, I’ll be uploading blog posts and videos of my process of getting through this pandemic as a full-time student at Arcadia University.
